Day 154: Aiming big, achieving small

RUN: 3.7 miles

I set my sights high today, with ambitions of running seven or eight miles, but it wasn't to be. Pretty disappointing.
I'm not sure whether I was not in a winning frame of mind or whether there was something amiss, but after almost three miles, once I reached the top of a big hill, everything told me to go home.

I had a nose bleed (not from the altitude, I'm sure) and I felt absolutely worn out (even though I've run up the hill before and not felt too bad, and I felt good to start with).

Ah well, I'm determined to do the route in full someday soon, and I'm off work this week, so I will conquer this seven/eight miler!
